What We Do

The Governors Public Health Alliance facilitates collaboration across governors’ offices on critical public health priorities, working together to:

Coordinate on health threat detection
Alliance Governors collaborate to strengthen surveillance systems, align emergency response plans, and share critical data to better prepare for emerging health threats.

Support technical health collaboration
Alliance states coordinate on regulatory and logistical issues, including bulk vaccine and medical supply procurement, strain verification, and public health guidelines.

Explore cross-border data exchanges
Governors are working together and with trusted partners to share critical health information across borders.

Liaise with global health partners
The Governors Public Health Alliance will serves as a cross-state liaison with the global health community – from scientific experts to philanthropic leaders.
